CorSport: Positive news as Ibrahimovic no longer feels knee pain – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is recovering from his knee injury and although he will be present at Milanello today, he won’t take part in the squad training. We will have to wait a bit longer for that, but the recent updates are positive.

According to Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, he began the recovery on June 18 and will continue his treatment at the training ground during pre-season. Today is the first day of the latter, which is always a bit exciting.

The goal is that Ibrahimovic will be back with the squad for the opening game of the season, which is scheduled for August 22. At most, he will be out until the second round, but there is optimism that he will make it back for the first.

In fact, the Swede no longer feels any pain in the affected knee and that is indeed a positive update. At the age of 40, he’s ready to amaze the Rossoneri fans (and football fans all over the world) once again.
