Whilst there has been a lot of doom and gloom around many of AC Milan’s summer signings, Christian Pulisic has enjoyed a very productive start to life with the Rossoneri.
As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News), the American winger has been very impressive since he joined from Chelsea and has posted some of the best early-season numbers of his career so far.
So far, Pulisic has got five goals and two assists which means that he is already close to his best tally from his Chelsea days, which was the nine goals from his first season in the Premier League.
The right-wing position seems to be Pulisic’s to lose at the moment with Samuel Chukwueze unable to oust him, but that competition will remain stiff throughout the season.
There is reason to claim that he is the most successful of the many summer signings so far, although Ruben Loftus-Cheek is also in the conversation.
He’s been excellent. Let’s hope he can stay fit.
Play him on the AMC of 4231, I think we can even get better version of him. That way he can freely attack down the middle and shift to both wings once necessary.
Glad he escaped the black hole that is Chelsea. When confident and fit, he clearly is a world class player.
Newcastle likes to do that high back line.
Milan needs to go direct again to Pulisic like in the Frosinone match. That’s where Pulisic has thrived the most in the past, breaking those high back lines with direct passes.
