By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick is currently considering certain factors before deciding whether to accept a job at AC Milan, according to a report.

There have been conflicting reports in both the Italian and German media regarding whether Rangnick is destined to join the Rossoneri in an unprecedented role in Serie A as head coach and sporting director.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanLive) on Monday – who cite German sources – the German is considering some situations before signing a three-year contract with an option for a fourth season.

Firstly, he is waiting to see what the budget for the transfer window will be. The manager, in fact, first wants to ascertain the amount that the company could make available to him for a new revolution on the market.

Having become aware of the specific situation of the club and the fact Elliott Management Corporation are bonded to UEFA and Financial Fair Play, Rangnick still wants to know specifically what he will face. The reason is simple: despite being young, the coach would still like new players and above all suited to his game philosophy.

In addition, the 61-year-old demands that all of his assistants and staff make the move with him. There is therefore a stalemate at the current stage, which the paper insists will however unlock in a few weeks.
