CorSport: Rebic visits children at the Maria Letizia Verga Centre

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan winger Ante Rebic made a beautiful gesture yesterday as he visited young patients of the Maria Letizia Verga Committee.

Today’s edition of the Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reports that Rebic visited the children looked after by the Maria Letizia Verga Committee in Monza yesterday. The meeting was organised by Massimiliano Borsani, the president of Lombardy youth soccer club Aldini-Bariviera, who brought 100 gifts to those being treated.

The association, founded in 1979, brings together parents, volunteers, supporter friends, researchers, doctors and health professionals in an alliance that aims to improve the overall quality of life of children and young people affected by haemato-oncological diseases, highly complex metabolic diseases and genetic issues.

It is a wonderful gesture from Rebic who continues to show his commitment to making a different in the area surrounding the city of Milano. He will hope to give the young Milan fans present joy in 2023 on the field too.

  1. Such a class act. Also has paid debts of everyone living in his birth village. Perfect example of a player who has bigger priorities than the “biggest paycheck possible”.
