CorSport: Another Serie A club joins Milan in battle for Lens striker

By Euan Burns -

Lazio are going to be providing competition for AC Milan when it comes to the signing of Lens striker Lois Openda, a report claims.

As has been reported by Corriere dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), the Biancocelesti are very keen on signing Openda and will make the task for Milan harder.

Openda has been linked with Milan for a long time and he is one of the primary targets for Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara this summer.

He has scored a superb 19 goals in Ligue 1 this season in what has been a superb season for Lens, and that is why it will take at least €20 million to sign him.

The Belgian is not only being chased by Milan, though, and the Rossoneri will need to make sure they secure Champions League football given Lazio have already booked their place.

That will be one of the key factors for Openda when choosing his new club.
