There are a number of clubs interested in signing Yacine Adli on loan and a decision has already been made, according to a report.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan), Adli could leave Milan in the final days of the winter transfer window just like Tiemoue Bakayoko could, given both players are struggling for playing time so far this season.
Milan paid €8m to sign Adli from Bordeaux in summer 2021 and he arrived at Milanello the following year after spending a further season on loan with Les Girondins, but so far he has just one start under Pioli and was left out of the Champions League squad list.
That is why the Frenchman could leave on a dry loan until June, to play more continuously as a starter, and there have been several expressions of interest from Serie A clubs – Sampdoria above all – plus teams abroad.
However, the 22-year-old would like to stay with the Rossoneri beyond the end of the month as his intention is to compete for a spot, though with only four appearances and 114 minutes amassed things could change before the window closes.
We have to send Adli and Lazetic to Sampdoria
If Pioli hates him then it’s better to loan him out to get minutes. No one benefits from him staying on the bench match after match. Feels idiotic to even have to write such obvious statement.
