Since Hakan Calkhanoglu left the club, Milan have been looking for a new playmaker on the market. Although Brahim Diaz has since returned, the Rossoneri want one more player for this position to feel comfortable.
According to today’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, the Rossoneri have their eyes set on several players. Nikola Vlasic, who wants to leave CSKA Moscow this summer, is one of the favourites on the list.
However, there is one option that shouldn’t be overlooked, namely Marcel Sabitzer. The Austrian’s contract with RB Leipzig will expire next year and this means he could arrive for a reasonable price, which is perfect for Milan.
Towards the end of the market, some new opportunities could also emerge with regards to outcasts at big clubs. In other words, we shouldn’t be surprised if the Rossoneri decide to wait a bit before filling the No.10 role.

Sabitzer is not even a star in his country. Definitely not a “leader” like newspapers write. Average player that is playing in the best team for his style, not good enough for Milan. Brahim Diaz is better than him.

Diaz is obviously talented but he is a time bomb. the time he explodes Real Madrid would call him back. sabitzer is the most suited option for Pioli’s play. Not even a star in Germany?
