CorSport: Spurs and Real Madrid duo emerge as defensive targets for Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

A familiar name has re-emerged as a possible option to become the new deputy to Davide Calabria, according to a report.

It has been well documented in the media that Milan are in the market for an alternative for the right side of defence, and the majority of the speculation has suggested that Diogo Dalot is the first choice target after his loan spell at the club last season from Manchester United.

According to il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), among the alternative targets for the right-back role is Alvaro Odriozola of Real Madrid, but in the last few hours Serge Aurier’s name has once again risen to prominance.

The Ivorian – who could leave Tottenham this summer – has already been linked with Milan in the past and the paper adds to watch out for possible developments on this market front. Aurier played 19 league games for the north London club last season, scoring twice.
