Mehdi Taremi wants to join AC Milan before the summer transfer window closes and AC Milan are weighing up their strategy, a report claims.
Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) also talks about the Taremi situation, confirming that Milan’s aim is to secure one more signing for the centre-forward position to complete the department.
The Rossoneri management have re-established contacts with Porto over Taremi and they are readying an offer which is worth a bit less than €15m.
The striker has already had an agreement in principle with Milan over personal terms for at least a month. Porto’s asking price is still €25m, but given his deal runs out in 10 months the Rossoneri are reluctant to pay it.
If they were to lower their demands to around €15m, Milan would be ready to pounce on the Iranian to complete the attack and then Lorenzo Colombo could go to Monza on loan.

No, Colombo is the future, he needs playing time as a starter to improve his killer instinct, not to be a deputy. Taremi is mature and can rotate with Oli. We need to think season by season. Colombo needs 2 more years on loan to be ready as our starter

Personally I would have preferred Milan sign Lukaku.
Apart from the fact he’s a good striker & knows the league… it would break Inter’s heart more than winning the scudetto against them…that feeling of Inter crying & abusing him every game would be priceless as they did to us with Hakan😂😂
Lukaku would be a big hit to the teams on and off the pitch due to his ego, personality, and wage.

Why not try for Pavlidis? A predator with great technique, good physique, and still 25 years of age.. he might cost the same and already knows Reijnders..

Yea but ekitike or broja might also cost somewhere around 20m. The advantage of getting a player from smaller team is that they would be happy to take like 2.5m per season. Check him out u will like him

Personally I don’t see the point in signing a 30 year old plus player. Like many have said, Giroud is still scoring and Okafor is a good back up. If it isn’t a move for the future, someone to learn off Giroud I don’t really get it..not saying Taremi isn’t a good player it’s just a short term fix
I have a hunch about Sesko….I know it doesn’t make sense in that he’s only just signed for Leipzig, but I do. He’s getting 10 mins for Leipzig per game and he could start at Milan…
