CorSport: Two midfielders Milan will follow closely at the World Cup

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will follow a bunch of players during the upcoming World Cup tournament, but some will be monitored a bit more than others. Two midfielders are high up on their list, a report claims.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are currently evaluating what moves to make in the January window. Milan are eight points behind Napoli and could use a boost, as a strong start will be the key to putting pressure on the Partenopei.

According to Corriere Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), two midfielders that Milan will follow during the World Cup are Daichi Kamada (Japan) and Pape Matar Sarr (Senegal). Massara even made a loan offer for the latter in the summer, but Tottenham said no.

Kamada’s contract with Eintracht Frankfurt will expire in 2023 and he’s thus a target of several big clubs. Borussia Dortmund and a few Premier League teams have already made their interest known, with Milan currently watching on.
