CorSport: Where Milan rank as each side are rated on 2022-23 season so far

AC Milan have had a positive start to the season but not worthy of being voted among the most positive in Serie A, according to a report.

Today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) have drawn up ratings for each team and their performance from the start of the current season to the end of 2022, starting with Luciano Spalletti’s Napoli getting a 10 out of 10 as they are top of the league with an eight point gap to second.

The paper gave a 7.5 to Lazio who are making strides under their head coach Maurizio Sarri, while a 7 was give to Thiago Motta who took over from Siniša Mihajlović at Bologna and has steadied the ship, plus Raffaele Palladino’s Monza who also earned a 7 for being well clear of any relegation problems at present..

Stefano Pioli of Milan gets a 7 for what has been a tough Scudetto defence thus far, and a 6.5 goes to Inter boss Simone Inzaghi. Corriere dello Sport remark that both Milan side have produced good football ‘on some occasions’ but have also demonstrated that they are anxious at times too.
