CorVerona: €15m playmaker green lights Milan move but Hellas Verona are playing hardball

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan remain interested in signing Mattia Zaccagni from Hellas Verona but some conditions have been laid out, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of il Corriere di Verona (via MilanNews) reports that Milan are continuing to push hard for Zaccagni, but they have hit a barrier of sorts as Hellas do not intend to offer any discounts having set a €15m asking price for the 26-year-old.

Not only that, but the Gialloblu also want the operation to be completed without any counterparts, with the Rossoneri having tabled defenders Mattia Caldara and Andrea Conti to try and sweeten the deal and lower any cash sum required.

The source goes on to report that Zaccagni has given his approval to the idea of a transfer to Milan, but Verona are standing firm on their demands and it remains to be seen whether the Rossoneri are willing to make the deal happen.
