This summer, Andrei Coubis was brought on AC Milan’s pre-season tour. However, it seems he will not feature more for the senior team.
Last season, Coubis was a regular in the Milan Futuro team which was relegated to Serie D. However, that is not the sign of a bad player. After all, many players have struggled for the team, but done better in Serie A; look at Francesco Camarda, for example.

Nevertheless, when Coubis was given his biggest chance, against Chelsea in pre-season, he did not leave a good impression. Unfortunately for the youngster, he scored an own goal as well as getting sent off.

As Calciomercato.com write, Massimiliano Allegri does not see a role for him in the senior team, despite him training with the group at Milanello. So, his agent is looking to secure an exit this summer. In fact, the report states he is ‘working hard’ on the situation.
Sampdoria have since come forward, and are a possibility to ‘keep in mind’. Coubis seemingly would be happy to drop down to Serie B, given their ambitions are to return to Serie A. A fee would likely not be huge, but it could provide future payments, like Mattia Liberali’s exit will.
Could be a good match for both the player and Sampdoria as they have been absolutely atrocious in recent years so he should have his fair share of chances. Milan should keep a buyback clause inserted though if he suddenly explodes but I would actually like to see Sampdoria back in Serie A as there are so many fond and for that matter bad memories of them in the 1990ies. Was absolutely furious when they got both Evani and Gullit in the 93/94 season.
Yea Samdoria used to be so good before. I remember their derbies with Genova too, when both teams used to be good.
Yeah they was and even lost a European Cup final against Barcelona when they won their first ever one. I quite liked a lot of their players even if some of them ended up in Juventus later on. That season when we lost 3-2 against them with Gullit and Evani in their team was a tough pill to swallow though 🙁

Time certainly does flie by and sure in regard of the league but not so much in regard at that 3-2 defeat against Sampdoria but compared to losing to Cremonese which I luckily missed out on, then sure 😀
On a side note this old geezer got a bit nostalgic earlier today and came to think of the Georgian Man City player Georgi Kinkladze whom I quite adored back then and hoped we would buy 😀

Probably best for his career. He won’t see anytime in this club, just like every other youth player we raise. Better to go where he’ll get some actual experience
Milan has certainly cleared out the youngsters this summer. Sounds like the talent pipeline is not producing enough quality.
