Things only appear to be going from bad to worse for AC Milan and particularly Stefano Pioli as they suffered another defeat, this time at the hands of city rivals Inter.
As has been reported by Milan News, the form that Milan are now in can only be described as a crisis given they have lost five games in a row in all competitions.
The defeats came against Inter, Lazio, Sassuolo and Inter again in the Supercoppa Italiana, as well as against Torino in the Coppa Italia. In the two games before those five, Milan drew 2-2 with both AS Roma and Lecce.
The team has not tasted victory since the 2-1 win over Salernitana on January 4. That is the only win of 2023, and it is not easy to see where the next will come from.
The next Serie A fixture is at home to Torino on Friday night, a team that have recently beaten them.
