‘Not like last year’ – Cuomo explains why Allegri and Furlani will have ‘serious’ meeting shortly

Over the past year there have been several questions about different parts of the team and it is reported that there could be a reshuffling this summer. Before then, though, it is likely that there could be some important decisions made.

Furlani and Allegri to shake hands again

With the summer approaching, plans need to be cemented and the relevant parties need to be addressed. So, Allegri’s future must be decided and the parties must have full transparency and clarity over their situations and their next steps.

Today, Telelombardia journalist Michael Cuomo spoke to Radio Sportiva about what will happen next, as MilanNews relays.

“The press rumors of the last few days reflect the reality of the situation. The situation can’t be resolved with the Verona match, which brings you closer to the Champions League. But the clouds remain. The current result of second place in the table is a blanket under which AC Milan is hiding everything.

“When the Champions League objective is achieved, Allegri and Furlani will meet again to seriously discuss the conditions for continuing the AC Milan project, in the hope that the final handshake will preserve the agreements and promises made, especially since they shook hands a year ago and things didn’t go so well…

“This handshake will serve either to move forward or to say goodbye in a civil manner.”
