The Curva Nord are ready for this evening’s derby between AC Milan and Inter as the fan group have urged the players to go out and ‘kill’ their city rivals.
As has been well documented, the Nerazzurri would win the Scudetto in the event of a victory tonight against Milan and thus would get the second star before their neighbours, and they are big favourites heading into the game.
The climate at Milan meanwhile is absolutely not the best, especially after the defeat against Roma in the Europa League. The season is drifting towards being very forgettable and the biggest fear is that of handing the Scudetto to Inter in the derby.
The Curva Nord would of course take a lot of joy from seeing Inter get one over on their rivals in a big way, and yesterday they showed up en masse at the training ground to fire up the players.
“You have already written the story. Tomorrow you are this close to becoming legends. It has never happened to anyone to win a title at the enemy’s home ground. We want you to spit blood. Since Thursday evening they are finished, they are bleeding, we have to kill them,” the Curva said (via Radio Rossonera).
If our players have any pride, this is enough motivation.

I mean what does it even matter if we delay the inevitable? If inter winning the scudetto is inevitable and Pioli’s fate also is inevitable then I think by delaying the inevitable, we’re delaying the inevitable. Whatever that means 😅
Inter and their chance win the scudetto was locked, even before the half of the season. But if Inter wins the Scudetto in the next derby, you can imagine it’ll go down to the book of history. It’ll be like stars line up just for them. Figuratively and literally. And it’ll be something that’ll be repeated over and over for decades. Just like that nightmare in Istanbul. It won’t be just a ‘regular’ defeat.
