Yesterday’s game ended in yet another misstep for AC Milan, losing 2-1 against Torino, and the ultras Curva Sud made their voices heard after the game. Publishing a statement on their Instagram, they bashed the Rossoneri players.
Things went sideways early on for Sergio Conceicao’s men as Mike Maignan gifted a goal to the home side, booting the ball straight at Malick Thiaw and into the back of the net. An equaliser was found through Tijjani Reijnders, but then the winner was conceded immediately.
On their Instagram, the Curva Sud published a story after the defeat and bashed the players, some of which don’t deserve to wear the shirt. Indeed, a response was expected after the recent disappointments but instead, it got worse.
“After Zagreb, after Rotterdam, after the elimination, after all this, today we should have seen a Milan with foam at the mouth… And instead we got another obscene defeat, the result of a non-existent club with no planning, the result of mistakes that are not even seen in the oratory, the result of many players who do not deserve to wear a shirt like ours, not even in the dressing rooms of the Milan Store. Shame!” the statement read.

Bologna are up next for Milan, namely the rescheduled game, and a win is a must to keep the top-four hopes alive. Without one, the Rossoneri can wave goodbye to the Champions League.
For one time I agree with these extreme fellas
Blame the management first than the players. Good management brings out the best of the players. Gets the maximum out of them. This management brings out the worst from the players. Its not just 1 player or 2, it’s all of them. Toothless curva sud. Cardinale probably got to their leaders already.
Unfortunately the one thing we can’t change is the owners / upper management
Cardinale is hardly gonna fire himself 😆
Conceicao might not be doing well but I reckon he’d be fine at a more stable club not forced to fabricate some sort of un-Fantastic 4
Statements like these are fine. Not showing up to games, as they have done in the past, is not fine, and actually hurts the team they claim to care about.
Relax, they’re the ones who aided where we are at right now. They wanted Pioli to go with a public message saying as much and helped to destabilize the team, undermining the coach. They also withdrew their support prior to the crucial second leg tie vs Roma last year. They then undermined the process of selecting a new coach and that’s how we ended up with Fonseca, whose hiring they didn’t protest against. They were the ones who said the overhaul from the Tonali sale/UCL money was a good Mercato. Shame!
Hard to not agree with you.
But the Tonali sale to me in hindsight was a good decision. First, he wasn’t worth that much money and he still isn’t. Second, I am pretty sure they knew something about his gambling. Too many coincidences at the same time are not a coincidence.
Now, another thing is how the cash was invested, but I would swap Pulisic alone for Tonali. Tiji grew so much with us as well.
The issue is not the players we bought in 2023. The chemistry the players had as an underdog team didn’t replicate afterwards. It definitely started with the sacking of Maldini, but the issue is it’s been almost 2 years and they didn’t fill the hole. Zlatan in his PR role is not enough. I can understand why they sacked him, I can’t fathom why they didn’t go for a top class director to fill his shoes.
Totally agree with you here even on the Tonali sale. I can’t see how they wouldn’t have some information on him to get into my half conspiracy bag for a bit haha. It was an odd sale to me. And like I pointed out before Mike would have been a better sale at the time as GK is easier to replace and you get the same cash. There might not be traceable but I’m sure they knew what was up.
On Puli and Deers, hindsight is easy. We can say only buy them now but that’s after we got to try out all the other 10 or so signings too. And we still didn’t get a Kessie replacement neither a sporting director as u said
