Curva Sud blast Milan president Scaroni after interview: “A total nobody”

The Curva Sud have published a strong response to Paolo Scaroni’s interview yesterday, describing him as a ‘total nobody’.

Milan’s 2024-25 season can only be deemed as a failure despite the 50th trophy in the club’s history arriving. The nine-point gap to the Champions League places is a symbol of the wrong choices made regarding the head coach and also the players brought in.

Yesterday, Scaroni spoke to Il Foglio during an event at San Siro. Among the notable remarks were the fact that the Supercoppa Italiana triumph means the season is not ‘totally negative’ in his eyes, while he commented on the sporting director issue and the need to be more ambitious.

In response to that interview, a social media statement from the Curva Sud has followed in which they make it clear that they are not exactly big fans of Scaroni. It was relayed by MilanNews.

“At the dawn of 2025 we have a president who has been receiving a large salary for years to warm his seat, who allows himself the luxury of telling fans when it is more appropriate to protest, who has been paid for years to close the stadium project but who by his own admission, like in the game of the goose, is still at the starting point, a total nobody in short!

“Today, taking advantage of the historical period that sees the organised fan base in the eye of the storm, we find ourselves at the mercy of a club totally devoid of Milanismo, which aims to fill the stadium with CUSTOMERS, making the real FANS flee with large empty spaces left at every match by season ticket holders, despite the proclamations of fake sell-outs.

“And while the managers of other Italian clubs about to build the new stadium aim to have ever larger Curvas and ever ‘hotter’ facilities, ours have not only not lifted a finger to protest the absurd bans on banners and flags that have been affecting our fans for months, preventing us from colouring San Siro and making it a cauldron as has been happening for almost 60 years, but they have even committed to having an increasingly grey stadium, at the mercy of tourists who don’t care about Milan but who are useful to fill the club’s accounts.

“Respect those who pay your salaries, avanti Milanisti, avanti Curva Sud!”

  1. Just in:

There’s a new betting scandal omn horizon, this time involving 12 players from which most known are FLORENZI, McKennie, Zaniolo, Bellanova, Di Maria, Perin, Paredes and RICCI.

There’s also a report suggesting Toali and Fagioli were not only betting but acted as debt collectors where they would write off their debts as a reward.

These are currently reports with no proper evidence but cryptic messages from deviced of Tonali and Fagioli.

      1. Ok I can see that Tonali and Fagioli apparently only will risk hefty fines and not bans in the event that they gets convicted again.

  2. I’m generally not a huge fan of conspiracy theories but in the Event of the club building a new and smaller stadium with less seats for actual fans but with 10-15000 seats for Ceo’s and the coorporate world then it increasingly looks to me like they wanna rid themselves of the Curva Sud in that process to facilitate room for the beforementioned expensive seats for the wealthy.

The Curva Sud is by no means perfect but is also a broad group of people and I’ll take their pressence any day of the week compared to Ceo’s or the coorporate world filling up spaces at the San Siro.

Unfortunately I do believe that the Curva Sud protest exessively enough as they should take it to the next level with far stronger means than their short write ups and chanting at San Siro.

    1. Actually they wont as it happened on illegal poker sites and was done in the same span of time where Tonali and Fagioli was already banned for. Tonali and Fagioli might get a hefty fine if convicted and the rest seems to be in line for fines at around 250-500 euros depending on the source.
