Curva Sud announced a protest for today’s game between AC Milan and Monza a few days ago, confirming that they will leave San Siro just 15 minutes into the game.
Following what has been a disastrous season, with the Rossoneri potentially finishing in 9th place, the fans have rightfully voiced their concerns about the future. Curva Sud, the main Milan ultras, announced a protest a few days ago, which will start at Casa Milan and then continue at the stadium.

The Curva Sud will arrive at the stadium shortly before 8 pm, but they won’t stay for long. Indeed, 15 minutes into the game, they will leave the stadium as part of the protest. They have also invited all other Milan fans to do the same, and a majority are expected to follow their lead indeed.
In other words, the tourists will remain at the stadium – at least that is the goal – and the atmosphere will become incredibly quiet. As stated by the Curva Sud, the walk-out will ‘leave Milan alone with their shame, their tourists and their customers’.
It’s a strong statement and hopefully, it will be an eye-opener for the management on what needs to be done in the summer. Simply hiring Igli Tare isn’t enough, investments will be needed to turn things around.
Milan needs a good coach, in my opinion. The disappointments against Feyenoord, Bologna, and the last league game with Roma changed the season for Milan. It would have been a different Milan if Conceicao had built from the defense, but, he was too emotional. We should not make the same mistake going forward. We still have players we can build the team around. It’s just one season. Napoli had the same experience after their last scudetto win.
I’m not watching the game tonight. The first game this season that I skip. I hope they pulverize Monza and that they can show what they are made of when the fans have already left.
