The Curva Sud have issued a press release on the latest happenings at the club, expressing their displeasure.
The situation regarding the future of the Rossoneri on and off the field is increasingly complex, with another revolution seemingly on the cards this summer. Director Zvonimir Boban and Paolo Maldini are destined to leave, while CEO Ivan Gazidis is ready to entrust the sports area to Ralf Rangnick.
All this is occurring while there is a war of words in the media between Boban and Gazidis, plus Maldini and former sporting director Massimiliano Mirabelli, making everything a circus inside and out.
The Curva Sud Milano, on its official website, has published a letter to express their opinion on what is happening. After talking about the chaos caused by the Coronavirus alarm, they discussed the key events.
“Regarding AC Milan’s situation, unfortunately we have found bitterly that, except for sensational turnarounds, yet another disappointing season is slipping away. The latest corporate arguments are certainly not good for Milan nor for the mood of the Rossoneri people for some time already at the minimum terms.
“To impute the responsibilities of this nth debacle to a single component seems to us unreal and inelegant. We are waiting for the situation to be better defined, trying to understand what the possible scenarios are on the horizon, without however losing sight of the reality of the facts: the managerial staff who took care of the technical area must be blamed for disappointing choices to say the least both in terms of coach and market, and at the same time it cannot go unnoticed that it was the club that chose the figures to whom to entrust the Milan sporting revival.
“In the hope of not having to find ourselves talking about ‘year zero’ every summer, we hope not to attend the media ping-pong in the future, trusting that the managerial staff of the future, whatever it may be, will take into consideration how fundamental rule that dirty clothes should be washed in your own home.”
