The Curva Sud has shown its support for Rafael Leao following his tough day at San Siro when he was jeered by a section of the supporters against Sassuolo.
The Portuguese winger has not enjoyed a good end to 2023 with his influence on the team clearly waning, and some fans seemed to have had enough by the time he was substituted off against the Neroverdi on Matchday 18.
It was clear on the day that it was far from the entirety of the stadium that whistled Leao as he trudged off of the field, but the Curva Sud have now made it clear that they were not whistling him and they stand with the player.
They shared another account’s Instagram story of a Leao post and shared the message ‘FORZA LEAO’.
Leao is regarded as the most talented and important player in the Milan squad and having signed a new contract in the summer, there is a desire to see him take the next step and become one of the best forward players in world football.
Unfortunately, though, he has just three Serie A goals so far this season and only managed to score once in the Champions League group stage.

Don’t just look at the words in the post but also look at the photo they chose. Same photo from the PSG game after he scored the goal and was shushing Curva Sud.
Yes it says Forza Leao but it also says SHUT UP, You’ve been doing a lot of talking and playing like crap.
If it was all in support, Leao would have reposted it, but he never did. Instead he post a video in which he continues to says criticism pushes him, keep criticizing because he does his talking on the pitch.
Instead of putting his head down and working harder, he continues to talk everywhere but on the pitch.
