Through their social media channels, the Curva Sud Milano have announced the details of a collection to help the citizens that have been caught up in the terrible conflict in Gaza.
Aside from their work on tifos and displays, the Curva have often shown a willingness to get involved in charitable causes and to use their reach in order to help those less fortunate.
On Instagram, the group have communicated the start of a collection of basic necessities for the people in Gaza. Below is the press release:
“As anticipated last week in the meeting, we are organising a collection of basic necessities for the population of Gaza.
“List of materials to be collected: medicines, wipes, diapers, towels, camp tents, shoes, lentils, chickpeas and beans, vacuum-packed rice, pasta, biscuits, lollipops, powdered milk.
“Since there is a break [the international break] and there are no game to go to, you have an excellent reason to come to the meeting on Thursday at San Siro from 9pm and actively contribute to the collection.”
