The Curva Sud have announced that they will be present for AC Milan’s final game of the season against Monza, but not for long.
There has been a climate of protest surrounding the club for most of the season, but things have really ramped up in the past few days. Banners have been placed outside Casa Milan, calling for the return of Paolo Maldini, but they were quickly removed by security.
In what has been a dismal 2024-25 campaign, the Curva Sud showing up outside the 125th birthday event in December to show their displeasure towards the ownership, something that continued right up until the end of the Coppa Italia final last week.
After the first indication to meet at Casa Milan at 17:00 on Saturday afternoon, the Curva Sud have now shared more information on their plans for the Monza game. The decision is to enter San Siro for the first 15 minutes of the game and then abandon it, leaving the stands of the stadium empty.
“For all the Milan fans who care about the future of our Milan: meeting at 5pm on Saturday afternoon before Milan-Monza in the Casa Milan square. Maximum participation is needed from all the Rossoneri fans.
“From Casa Milan we will all move to the stadium where we will enter for the first quarter of an hour, making our reasons heard inside San Siro too, and then abandon them, leaving them alone with their shame.
“With the civility and correctness that have always distinguished us and in respect of everyone’s thoughts, a massive presence at both initiatives on Saturday will be essential , to send a clear and unequivocal message from all the Rossoneri people!”
The only effective protest is not to buy season tickets for next year, not to attend games throughout the season, and not to watch the games on TV. With no revenues, Cardinale will be forced to sell. Any other form of protest will not achieve anything. Cardinale is a cancer and needs to eradicated.
“With no revenues, Cardinale will be forced to sell.”
I think not. He might tighten the money faucets even more to fix the budget. He isn’t selling for peanuts as he’s in it to make profit.
“He isn’t selling for peanuts as he’s in it to make profit.” He is lucky to break even at this point.
Hence not getting rid of him anytime soon…
Bb he will sell for sure he can’t afford to pay all the bills from his pocket the guy is broke and sponsors will leave next year if things don’t get better or they reduce the money loosing money from fans 150ml 90 million is from tickets and the rest is t-shirts and other merchandises loosing 60 to 85ml from cl loosing 30ml from sponsors absolutely they will reduce the amount if we failed again to play cl loosing TV rights or get small amount isn’t gonna be easy for gerdinale he will sell for sure otherwise he will lose everything because he must also pay Elliott for their money
“he will sell for sure he can’t afford to pay all the bills from his pocket the guy is broke and sponsors will leave next year ”
LOL!!!! You have no idea, now do you? The owner pays the bills???? Cardinale broke???? Sponsors will leave???
– No. The owner doesn’t pay the bills.
– Cardinale broke? Well, even if he were, it has nothing to do with Milan’s budgets.
– Sponsors have binding contracts and they’ll respect those. I doubt all the sponsors have signed until summer 2026.
” he will sell for sure otherwise he will lose everything because he must also pay Elliott for their money”
Also… Cardinale can’t pay Elliott with the money Milan earns. Milan’s money isn’t Cardinale’s money and vice versa. RedBird’s money isn’t Milan’s money. RedBird/Cardinale have to find money elsewhere to pay his debts to Elliott. He cannot do it with the money from Milan’s accounts.
“He isn’t selling for peanuts.” He IS the peanut. He can tighten budgets all he wants. We starve the club until RedBird is out. No owner should use the club to attack fans’ pockets and abuse their love for the club. What an inhumane creature.
