The terms ‘protest’ and ‘Curva Sud’ have been synonymous in recent months, but sometimes it is for a very good reason.
Indeed, the Curva’s battle against high ticket prices for away fans continues, and this time it is Udinese who are on the receiving end of it.

On an Instagram story the Curva highlighted the price difference between the game one week from Saturday (€55 away stand, €65 for Curva Sud) and Udinese’s match against Hellas Verona at the start of the season (€30 away sector and Curva members).
The message reads as follows: “Someone should explain to us why Udinese is charging more than double the price of other fan groups for the same seats, speculating on those who travel to away games and spend the same amount to follow their team, obviously in general silence. Away stands and the Curva Sud are €30, no more speculation! Serie A, is piracy to blame?”

The game away against Udinese in 2023-24 also featured an unsavoury scene, as Mike Maignan was racially abused by a section of home supporters, leading the teams to walk off the field.

I thought the mafia understood business…
Hey look, they are protesting again. What a shock!
What a bunch of spoiled babies
It’s embarrasing that you yankee commentators think your opinion mathers. Stay on your 15$ water tasting shitty beer watching baseball stadium without people complaining. Why do you even pretend to be interested in European football? You obviously have ZERO idea what it’s about. Off you go
