Last night, AC Milan’s most recognisable fan group, the Curva Sud, released a statement after the announcement of the season ticket process.
In recent years, the Curva and the club have regularly gone against each other, or should we say, the Curva has spoken and the club have not really. It has been a difficult one to watch and it has had impacts on San Siro.

Indeed, Milan have regularly been without the full support of the group and in recent months, protests have continued against Gerry Cardinale, with plans to even protest in Times Square, in New York.
It is not the first case of this, as seen with protests in London. However, there is a clear divide and it must be solved.
Curva Sud’s 2026/27 statement
With the release of the new season tickets, the Curva have now published a statement about their plans for the upcoming campaign, as MilanNews have relayed.
“Today, July 7, the season ticket campaign for the 2026/2027 season officially begins.
“We arrive at this event in the midst of a turbulent summer, marked by legitimate and justified protests against a club that in recent years has demonstrated its sole focus on profit, to the detriment of sporting results and trampling on the history of our Club.
“While calls have been raised from various quarters against season tickets, with the declared intent of causing financial damage to the club and following the example of other clubs, WE, as organized fans, have decided to renew our season tickets en masse, as anticipated at last Saturday’s party.
“The reasons are many and very simple:
“First of all, our place has always been next to our shirt regardless of presidents, owners, coaches, players, warehouse workers etc.
“Secondly, if we analyse the numbers strictly (balance sheet in hand), season tickets represent roughly 5% of the total revenue of a season (around 20 million euros), a very different story when compared to the sales of tickets for individual matches, which are three times higher.
“Not to mention commercial revenues, TV rights and player management, which are a real lifeline for the club’s coffers.
“Finally, giving up season tickets would not empty the stadium but would accelerate the process of replacing fans with tourists/customers, which began several years ago.
“It goes without saying that not having season tickets would cause minimal financial damage to this ownership; on the contrary, it would prove to be a golden opportunity to resell the same seats at increased prices, game after game, tripling the revenue.
“We firmly believe that the stadium has always been the home of every fan, who is free to cheer, whistle, and protest their team.
“An empty stadium today is pure utopia because, as demonstrated on several occasions, especially in the final matches of last season, the stadium has been emptied of its club, its fans, and its soul, to be filled with tourists who barely know our social colors, thanks to the “packages” sold through travel agencies and resale platforms.
“Buying a season ticket doesn’t mean you’re trusting this management, much less financing its projects. We buy season tickets to defend AC Milan, its history, and its fans, carrying on a passion passed down through generations that in recent years has been continually challenged by this club’s purely entrepreneurial decisions.
“AC Milan is us, with our flags, our voice, our presence in every stadium in Italy and Europe. Leaving those stands empty would mean definitively extinguishing the light, the passion; filling them is the only way to remain the last bastion defending the Rossoneri colors.
“MILAN, FIRST OF ALL, ALWAYS!”

Bla Bla Bla, with all due respect that I have for you and the noise you make, I as a tourist any time I come to support AC Milan which I do for over 40 years now, have to pay for one game what you pay over a season. So I am sorry but you are offending me by calling me a tourist, and yes AC Milan is as much of a club for me as it is for you.
Now, let us get real, you appear to work against the ownership who are clearly here doing the right things, and splashing money to strengthen the squad, have gotten us out of financial mess created by others you thought were doing the right thing and are working on getting us the best stadium in the world.
So what would you like as true fans? Get free season tickets and also close the eye on you making money in the stadium like you used to do? If you want to make money then there are plenty of jobs you can get for game day and thorughout a week.
I know there are many of good ones among you but I am sick of some of you that yesterday boo Maldini on his last day and now ask for him to come back.
Make up your mind and stay consistant, remove the criminal element amongs you and then I will accept you for true fans like I am and many other toursit among us.

I do understand they have to be incentivized to come to the stadium and they earn their privileges on the stands (the cheaper tickets and the reselling on aftermarket). My issue is with their leadership that is a mob, the sale of drugs (be it weed) on the stadium – it is only a matter of time to result is some serious investigation and huge issues for the club and its reputation.
Most of all – their lack of representation of the club’s enormous fanbase and the club’s best interests. Always complaining, extorting and causing unnecessary chaos in the worst possible time.
With friends like that, no one needs an enemy. To be frank, if I am the owner I would probably take the same path with them. OR why not – promise all the privileges they want (legal ones) but only if they get rid of the mobsters and until certain guarantees are in place.

participating in quite a lot of different scenes and subcultures I can honestly say, it’s the same bullsh*t that p*sses me off the most: “Only we are the TRUE ones”.
There should be a total boycott of the club until the bast&rds sell.
And the fact that you lot(Curva) booed the player while matches are ongoing and sometimes do that selectively on targeted player eg Leao makes me question your commitment to AcMilan, booing is allowed but not during the match, you can do that afterwards and show your discontent. Forza Milan

Daddy Gerry does not impress these folks. He has absolutely bought the undying love of the online Milan fans with a few weeks of spending though. Sad stuff. At least Curva Sud know what they are talking about.
Bro the curva praised Gerry’s first Mercato and didn’t stand up when one of the biggest milanisti in Maldini got fired. And then quickly reneged when results didn’t go as planned later on in the season. This is the curva…wherever the wind blows is where you’ll see them

“replacing us with tourists” – not having the curva can never be palpably replaced by tourists and casuals because the stadium will become eerily quiet.
oh but “season tickets only represent 5%…” blah blah blah. It’s partially about the his to the coffers but more importantly its a message to the management to get their sh!+ together.
I don’t know, I just think it’s a very weak move from the organized clubs, because regardless of the BS the management puts the club through year after year, these guys show up for season’s tickets and come up with excuses.
Can not understand all the complaining? Even thou the ownership has been fixing our debts they still made the club money and bought ok players.

It’s not about the Mercato. It’s about the hypocrisy and inconsistency of these set of fans (curva) who feel they’re better than other fans when their actions clearly have been suspect to say the least. The transfer window is a whole issue in and of itself

Reminds me of this one fan on the site who beats his chest like he’s the greatest Milan supporter of all time, tells off ppl about being a real Milan fan but then supported a whole different team. Can’t recall the name exactly but what a dbag. Kinda like the curva. Can’t make up their minds which lane they’re in
