Daily Mail: Arsenal striker set to leave Premier League side with Inter and Milan lurking

By Euan Burns -

Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun is expected to leave the Premier League side this summer with both Inter and AC Milan showing serious interest in his services, a report claims.

As has been reported in the United Kingdom by The Daily Mail, Balogun is prepared to leave Arsenal in order to continue being a first-choice striker elsewhere.

He has spent the last season on loan at Stade Reims in Ligue 1 where he was the main man and scored 22 goals. He is now returning to Arsenal and with Gabriel Jesus and Eddie Nketiah ahead of him at the club, the 21-year-old is open to moving away.

Balogun recently took the decision to represent the United States of America at international level rather than England, further showing his desire to play regular football.

He has two years left on his Arsenal deal and the club are said to be reluctantly willing to sell him.

  1. “serious interest” does cheap egotistic americans know that balogun it’s gonna cost 30-35m ? Which is all of rumoured transfer budget?

  2. Would be a dream signing. Unfortunately his profile is too high after the season he had, and with so many teams interested he’s probably not a realistic target for Milan anymore. Him and Leao would make a devastating duo in attack. He’s also the type of player that could probably actually bring the best out of CDK, since he would make runs and give Charles a chance to show of his silky through passes.

      1. ??? Americans just love movies and money. Nonsense for a limited budget. The Saudi Arabia club laughed at this.

    1. We can’t LOL.

But say we did spend all of our budget on him and he flops – do we fire Moncada and Furlani?🤔

    2. Thats just rumour . Last season rumour say we only have 30m euro budget + sale but reality we spend 56m euro for transfer fee + pay fee agent + pay loan player . I think we will get 70m euro including sale from 4 player like rebic, ballotoure, junior, origi. Not much if compare with EPL club but enough to fix 1-2 out weak position in DMF & RW

  3. Lol don’t worry guys, if this is the case then Inter will get him because they actually have a transfer budget.
Redbird is a joke 35 mil is less than Spezia is spending on a summer campaign. We won’t get any good players this summer probably some young players who maybe they will turn into good players in a few years maybe not

    1. How much is Inter’s transfer budget? I had no idea, that they have a transfer budget of €300m… They are in debt, and need to sell players..

      1. but Inter routinely won the competition title for every season. even though it’s the champion of pop corn. fans will be happy. top players will be attracted to come. What a joke is that jerk Gerry with his money. Not even able to compete with Arab club finances.

      2. More than us, look at their squad and the wages, Inter is paying around 120 mil per season only salaries and Milan is paying 80 mil, ok you want to bring more free players but if you want quality players like Gunodan from City you have to pay a higher salary, Cardinale doesn’t want that either, the biggest salary is Leao with 5 mil plus bonuses

        1. And? Even after paying, so much they can’t win Serie A.. Why are you ignoring? Their internal situation? They are in debt.. And each summer, they has to sell a player! You look like, a glory hunter, to me, who is bothered with short term success.. BTW, current Champions, Napoli even pays less than, Inter, Milan and Juventus in wages! Which is €70m..

  4. Arsenal’s strikers are Gabriel Jesus, who has never scored more than 14 league goals in a season, and Nketiah. That they’re willing to cash in on this guy tells you everything you need to know. Beto is a better option, as are guys like El Wahi.
