Dalot says Milan ‘must continue like this’ ahead of Torino clash: “Happy to have Ibrahimovic back”

By Isak Möller -

In less than 30 minutes, Milan will take on Torino in the 17th round of Serie A. And after the defeat last time out, they will be looking to bounce back with a win this evening, responding in the best way possible.

The Rossoneri are still first in the league standings but only with one point to spare, meaning tonight’s game will be very important for them. Diogo Dalot, interviewed by MilanTV (via MilanNews), spoke about the clash.

“We will have to be careful, they defend well and do well on the counters. We are concentrated, we are first in the standings and we want to stay there. We must continue like this. Ibra? We are happy to have him back, he’s ready,” he began.

“Right or left? On the right is my position, I feel more comfortable. I can also play in other roles if the coach decides. I’m here to help the club regardless of my position.”

The Man Utd loanee played from start against Juventus as Stefano Pioli was forced to play Davide Calabria in midfield. It was an average performance from the Portuguese youngster, who has been solid since his arrival.

It remains to be seen if Milan will try to redeem him at the end of the season. Of course, a lot depends on Man Utd and their requests, but the feeling now is that the Rossoneri will give it a go.
