AC Milan have not lost a Serie A game at San Siro to Torino since 1985, and Roberto D’Aversa is keen to topple that record.
In recent weeks, Torino have become an inspired outfit, with hopes of rising up the table. Indeed, D’Aversa has gotten Toro firing, and with two wins in their last three games, they could look to take advantage of a vulnerable Milan side.

D’Aversa’s Anti-Allegri plan
To do this, as Gazzetta dello Sport writes this morning (seen below), he is demanding a ‘courageous’ side this weekend, one that leaves fear at home and does not retreat ‘for as long as possible’. Indeed, he hopes his side can create an upset by playing daring football.
The role, in his eyes, shifts to his players on a matchday, and it is down to them to perform, and so far it is working fantastically. So, he aims to create an ‘anti-Allegri plan’ to take to San Siro, whilst believing in his team’s ability to topple the Rossoneri.
Nikola Vlasic, as the report continues, will be key, it seems. He will be tasked with stopping Luka Modric and then being the leader of counterattacks, taking the responsibility of the player to make the final pass.
Failing to win this weekend will mean that it has been more than 41 years since Torino won a Serie A game at San Siro, which they are keen to overturn.
