DAZN: The latest on Tomori after receiving heavy knock in Roma-Milan

By Isak Möller -

Fikayo Tomori only played 45 minutes for AC Milan earlier this evening as he received a heavy knock towards the end of the first half. Updates have now arrived on his condition and the fans can breathe a sigh of relief.

The Englishman picked up a yellow card early on, meaning he will miss the mid-week clash against Cremonese, but that wasn’t what forced him to come off at half-time. Toward the end of the half, he received a knock from his friend Tammy Abraham and limped afterwards.

He managed to play the remainder of the first half despite limping slightly and he was then replaced by Malick Thiaw. According to DAZN (via MilanNews), we’re not talking about anything serious but rather it was just a heavy knock for the defender’s leg.

He will miss the game against Cremonese, as said earlier, and thus he will be able to get some rest ahead of Lazio at the weekend. Hopefully, he will be fully fit to start in that game, as it’s a crucial one.

  1. Tammy Abraham is something else. He do not like his chances with Tomori and Kjaer so he removes them from play. Mourinho complaines but his players wanted nothing but injure our players.

  2. Murinho is Inter’s machinery. Thank we didn’t have more injuries. Milan needs to play with caution before our semi final champions league.
