DAZN: Milan could try again for Zaniolo in the next 48 hours – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could make another attempt to sign Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma before the transfer window closes, according to a report.

The Zaniolo saga has been dominating the headlines over the last few days as the 23-year-old is attracting interest from Milan but also from English clubs who are able to offer much more advantageous terms with regards to transfer fee and salaries.

Calciomercato.com reported that Bournemouth executives met Zaniolo’s entourage a little while ago to try to get the green light from the winger after having reached an agreement with Roma over a transfer fee, but they were unsuccessful as he is holding out for a move to Milan.

Now, the DAZN journalist Orazio Accomando has given an update on the situation after the meeting that occurred with Bournemouth, and he did not rule out another attempt from the Rossoneri.

“The meeting between Vigorelli and Bournemouth took place in Rome. Zaniolo said no to the offer from the English club. Either Milan or Roma until the end of the season. A new attempt by Milan in the next 24/48 hours is not excluded,” he said (via MilanNews).

  1. Is the journalist from DAZN a Milan fan? Milan board wants the team to suffer and that is what they will do until the next transfer window where they will buy Sportiello and Messias and Saelemakers brother. The more useless players the better

  2. Didn’t cardinale say no? So this chase of zaniolo ( a waste of time, energy and money if you ask me ) is all over …..

  3. We should do this. He has high motivation to come here at the right time. Could really revive the team for the second half of the season. If we go get some bum instead we will just see more of the same. Now is the time to strike and be decisive. Needs to happen.
