DAZN: Milan in talks over last-minute deal for Lokomotiv Moscow defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are still pushing to sign a centre-back in the final stages of the window and Lokomotiv Moscow defender Lucas Fasson has been offered, according to a report.

Milan evaluated various centre-back targets over the past few weeks including Tosin Adarabioyo, Lilian Brassier, Trevoh Chalobah, Jakub Kiwior, Clement Lenglet and most recently Merih Demiral.

As of the start of deadline day it looked as though Geoffrey Moncada and Antonio D’Ottavio would be disappointed in their search for a variety of reasons, from costs to clubs blocking exits.

According to what is being reported by Orazio Accomando of DAZN, Milan are still evaluating late opportunities to bring in a central defender before the 20:00 CET deadline.

Lokomotiv Moscow’s Lucas Fasson has been proposed to the management through his entourage and contacts are underway between the clubs too.

However, Milan are looking for some kind of loan formula but the Russian side would prefer a permanent sale. Time is running out, with developments to follow.

Fasson is 22 years of age and has been in the Russian capital since June 2022. In 2020, Spanish La Liga side Barcelona tried to sign him from São Paulo but it did not materialise because they wouldn’t pay his €40m clause, as per Wikipedia.
