GdS: Milan want to close De Ketelaere deal amid rumours of Club Brugge discount

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are hoping that they will get the operation for Charles De Ketelaere completed as the attack needs more quality, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how the management believe De Ketelaere is the right man because of his technical and physical characteristics. In addition to being a goal scorer, the 21-year-old also gets assists (10 last season), and is the glue between the midfield and attack. Another aspect not to be underestimated is the amount he helps in the defensive phase, too.

Milan have decided that either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow they must close the De Ketelaere deal, or the Rossoneri will end the negotiations with Club Brugge and will move on to plan B: Hakim Ziyech of Chelsea.

There are some sources in Belgium suggesting that Brugge have opened at a discount for De Ketelaere, eamning Milan’s offer of €32m including bonuses could be accepted, the paper claims.

  1. For those who are saying we should just pay the few extra millions and that holding out for a discount made us look like our second rate club… Your apologies are accepted in advance

    1. Keep dreaming buddy. First let see if it really happens. Second doesn’t matter 32M or 35M at this point. The opportunity cost lost waiting over 3M is embarrassing and far exceeds the 3M potential savings. So no need to pay yourself on the back kid lol

  2. If you are asking for a 35mill apology *note we shall surely be holding back for a 3mill, so let’s see how this pan out!!😌
