RTL Sport: Brugge expect player-plus-cash bid from Milan – Leeds now ‘very pessimistic’

By Oliver Fisher -

Confirmation has arrived from Belgium that Club Brugge are expecting to receive a new bid from AC Milan for Charles De Ketelaere.

According to Alexander Braeckman of RTLSport on Twitter, discussions are still ongoing between Club Brugge and Milan, and there is ‘no agreement yet’. However, he adds that negotiations will continue into the week and the overall feeling is positive for all parties.

Brugge are anticipating the following offer from Milan: €30m in cash plus Primavera duo Andreas Jungdal and Emil Roback, but they have not yet decided whether to accept that bid when it does arrive.

Leeds are now ‘very pessimistic’ about being able to hijack the deal, so for Milan ‘everything continues calmly’. The discussions that have been held with the player have gone very well and ‘no one doubts’ that an agreement will be reached without problem.

The proposal is for a five-year contract, but what remains to be defined is the role the 21-year-old will have in the team, i.e. whether he will be a guaranteed starter.

      1. Well, besides Radu, we actually have Hakan to thank for the scudetto. He single handedly lost 3 games for shinter by disappearing completely in matches against midtable teams like he used to do for us sending them on a loss streak and simone kept playing him till he had the lightbulb moment to finally benched him towards the end when it was too late lol Snake be doing his job well, biting whoever is feeding it.

Just when snake went to shinter for glory, Milan won the scudetto. Lol It’s like divine intervention. lol
