HLN: De Ketelaere to feature in friendly as Milan’s latest offer is not close to enough

AC Milan’s pursuit of Charles De Ketelaere has hit the buffers again as the latest offer has not been accepted, reports from Belgium claim.

Numerous sources have claimed that Milan submitted a new offer for the 21-year-old playmaker that is worth around €30m, with the possible inclusion of counterparts to sweeten the deal and confidence that the negotiations can be closed positively.

However, according to what is being reported by the Belgian newspaper HLN (via MilanNews), Milan have not yet presented an offer close to the requests of Club Brugge for De Ketelaere, implying the latest official bid is not close to good enough.

For this reason, the player will not be kept out of today’s friendly match against Dutch side FC Utrecht as was reported, having already missed the friendly at the weekend against FC Copenhagen. Provided the situation hasn’t changed, CDK should also be available for the Super Cup against Genk on Sunday.
