RTL Sport: De Ketelaere says no to Leeds as Milan line-up bid worth €30m+

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan may well face one less suitor in the race for Charles De Ketelaere as he has said no to Leeds United, according to a report.

According to reports from RTL Sport journalist Alexandre Braeckaman, there are three clubs who are interested in signing De Ketelaere. One of them is Leicester City who have him near the top of their wish list but have not yet made an offer, while he adds that Milan are considering an offer of €30m plus bonuses.

Leeds United are tracking him given they may lose Raphinha and they are studying the possibility of offering the €40m that Club Brugge want as per the journalist, but the Yorkshire club have hit an obstacle.

De Ketelaere’s entourage have let Leeds know he is not interested in joining the club despite their interest. Leeds are still pushing, but the track is getting colder very quickly, Braeckaman adds.

  1. I am astonished, by the fact that Leeds United are able to offer €40m for their target.. They earned promotion, few years ago..

    1. maybe because teams even getting relegated from the epl is earning more money than the italian top teams. FFP has only strengthened the epl as they can dictate the transfers as they have so much more money than other teams.
The only way ffp becomes fair is that all leagues gets the same ammount in tv and advertisement deals.

    2. Teams in Serie A earn around 20M per season from overseas TV rights, in the EPL it’s more like 200M. And you still don’t see how English teams can spend more?

  2. Let’s see how this would turn out to be Redbird already lost botman and enzo Fernandez and probably Renato sanches three main targets before the takeover that they lost but right now as you guys can see they are doing very good job
