Official: De Ketelaere makes Belgium squad but Origi and Saelemaekers do not – photo

Charles De Ketelaere has been called up by Belgium for the World Cup in Qatar but there is no room in the initial squad for Divock Origi or Alexis Saelemaekers.

De Ketelaere has not been in the best of form since his summer move to Milan but Roberto Martinez has decided to bet on his qualities. Bryan Heynen, Alexis Saelemaekers, Dodi Lukebakio and Jason Denayer will be stand-by until the start of the tournament, Belgium confirmed on Twitter, while there is no place for Origi.

  1. Not surprised. CDK will come good with time. I doubt whether he’d get to play, but being in the team is an experience for d future, just like Rinaldo de Lima at USA 94, for Brazil. Original hasn’t featured much since joining Milan, while Saelemaekers’ form has dipped seriously. All the best, mate!

    1. Saelamaekers was injured when he started to get on form. I really felt sorry for him, it was at a very wrong moment after scoring in back to back UCL matches. So stop saying his form has dipped seriously because that’s a false statement.
      FORZA MILAN PER SEMPRE ♥️🖤💪🦾😘💯

  2. I hope so too Bro
I don’t really know how people can be impatient in this world. Most Milan fans on this page did the same thing to SANDRO TONALI but they’ve all ate their words.
I hope CDK would prove them all wrong very soon.
    FORZA MILAN ♥️🖤

  3. He’s obviously an important player in the Belgium squad – there are no ‘make-weights’ – which shows how much he is thought of in Belgium.
Look forward to him getting some game-time and coming back, full of confidence!
