De Telegraaf: Ajax hoping to sell teenage midfielder for €10m as Milan enquire

AC Milan have registered an interest in signing midfielder Silvano Vos from Ajax, a report claims, but they face competition from Stade Reims.

According to De Telegraaf, Stade Reims have stepped forward and made it clear to Ajax that they would like to sign the 19-year-old talent Silvano Vos from Ajax on a loan deal until the end of the 2024-25 season.

Ajax are considering the proposal from the Ligue 1 club but they would prefer to sell him because he not in Francesco Farioli’s plans, but they realise that time is running out and want to get rid of Vos’ salary before the end of the summer window.

Under the previous director of football Sven Mislintat, the Amsterdammer signed a new contract, which means he earns a salary that can increase to €1m net through bonuses.

Milan are also interested in Vos, who ‘was considered a top talent at De Toekomst [Ajax’s academy]’, but the Rossoneri have only enquired rather than presenting any kind of official offer up to this point. It is unclear if he would be a signing for the first team or Milan Futuro.

Ajax hope that Milan will follow through with their interest and present a bid, while a transfer fee of €10m was previously mentioned, but as the transfer deadline approaches that price will drop.

Vos has played 17 matches for Ajax so far. For Jong Ajax his tally is at 56 matches, six goals and four assists, and he predominantly plays as a creative midfielder.
