De Telegraaf: Noa Lang ‘one step away’ from Milan – only RedBird’s approval missing

By Oliver Fisher -

Club Brugge winger Noa Lang is ‘one step away’ from joining AC Milan as only one thing is needed in order to complete the move, a report claims.

According to reports from Valentijn Driessen of the Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf (via MilanNews), Lang is very close to completing a move to Milan as the Rossoneri club have already wrapped up the deal for the young forward.

The Dutch winger apparently made it known some time ago that he wants to leave Belgium in search of a bigger club with aspirations that match his, and he has chosen Milan as the project that he wants to marry.

However, the report stats that the Milan management – led by Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara – have not yet received the approval of RedBird Capital who will have the last say on the matter as they must release the funds in order to complete the operation.

  1. After Origi Noa Lang is the most important signing to have arrived in Serie. His pace, dribbling and Killer instinct makes him look like Carlos Tevez,Arjen Robben

  2. His playing style is probably the most suitable to Milan game plan compared to the other rumored names (CDK, Zaniolo).
His character and attitude is the only issue. Having personalities like Maldini and Ibra in the club can make this work though.

  3. Looked at his highlights of the season. To be honest… That wasn’t what I expected. Seems to be highly overrated guy. Lots of “almost” thing but often lacks the end product. He’s quick and pacy but so is Saelemaekers and look where he’s going.

Better use that money on CDK first and find the proper RW instead.

    1. CDK is clearly a better player, no doubt. Zaniolo also probably. Rightly, he costs half of CDK.
However he seems (much) more talented compared to Saele. With the right attitude (big question mark) he can be a clear improvement.
His playing style seems very compatible and this can make it an interesting case (always considering the rumored costs). For 20m he doesn’t seem to be overrated, it seems like a fair price: medium/large potential, medium risk.
