Defensa Central: Milan eye Real Madrid defender but face battle to convince

AC Milan are two centre-backs down with Pierre Kalulu and Marco Pellegrino facing a length spell out, and the management have turned to Real Madrid in their bid for reinforcements.

The appropriately named Spanish source Defensa Central are reporting that Milan are desperate for a centre-back and they are looking towards Los Blancos ahead of January, more specifically Nacho Fernández.

The problem is that Real Madrid do not have enough players in that position so it seems difficult to imagine they will let him leave in the winter. Therefore, even though they are aware that Nacho could be interested in this proposal, he will not get the green light to leave in January as things stand.

The LaLiga champions remain firm and will not evaluate any of the offers that arrive in the winter so Nacho should remain until the end of the season and then we will see what will happen with the player’s future.

Of course things can change, especially if the player were to push for the exit, but Milan seemingly face a tough challenge to break down their resistance.
