Reports surfaced earlier today suggesting that AC Milan are interested in Torino defender Mergim Vojvoda and have even agreed terms with him.
According to the journalist Arlind Sadiku, Milan director Paolo Maldini has agreed terms with the 27-year-old who can play both full-back positions, but now the Rossoneri must reach an agreement with Torino.
However, our colleagues at SempreMilan.it report that the news seems to be wide of the mark because at the moment Milan seem more oriented towards the permanent signing of Alessandro Florenzi from Roma.
Despite the injury that forced him to miss the next few matches, Milan remain strongly intent on buying him from Roma for a sum similar to that which would invest for a hypothetical purchase of Vojvoda, who gives less guarantees to the Rossoneri management.
It is still possible that Milan look for an upgrade in the left-back role given that Fode Ballo-Toure has not offered the right guarantees.
So Florenzi gives Milan more guarantees? Guarantees to be injured. Missed half of the season because of injuries on his knees.
