Mehdi Taremi may have vanished as an option for AC Milan but they seem determined to try and sign a striker before the window closes at 20:00 CEST tonight.
Around 36 hours ago it appeared as though Mehdi Taremi was going to complete his move to Milan after a few days of negotiations. However, various obstacles arose that mean there is now a race against time to get things done.
According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio, the Milan management are continuing their search for a striker in view of a long and busy season, because they want to give Stefano Pioli a high-level alternative to Olivier Giroud.
The Rossoneri are carefully following two profiles as per Di Marzio and the first is that of Vangelis Pavlidis, a 24-year-old centre-forward who is currently the top scorer in the Eredivisie with three goals in two games.
The second is Willian Josè, a Brazilian forward at Real Betis. In this case, Milan would like to sign the player on loan with an option to buy while the LaLiga team would like an obligation.
I’ve read on a few sites that Daka is waiting for his visa to complete the loan with option to buy.

He had a decent season for Leicester a couple years back. I got to know him from FIFA of all places then decided to watch him play. He could or should have made the move to United when he had the chance tbh. He’s decent and had potential back then. Not sure about now and seems his name didn’t ring bells afterwards. Still somewhat youngish though
Sign Dani Olmo or William Jose. He is a tried and tested player at Real Sociedad and Betis
Dani Olmo isn’t a Striker afaik.
Dani Olmo can play anywhere in midfield and behind striker. But he will be really expensive and Leipzig don’t want to sell.
Sanabria and Willian Jose is good.
