Di Marzio: Angel Correa close to joining AC Milan in €55m deal

By Isak Möller -

During tonight’s Calciomercato show on Sky Italia, Gianluca Di Marzio dropped a transfer bomb, revealing that AC Milan are in negotiations to sign Angel Correa from Atletico Madrid.

The Rossoneri have been linked with several players this summer, but no outlets have previously reported about their interest in Angel Correa, despite the negotiations being in an advanced stage.

Di Marzio claims that the Spanish side are looking for €50-55m for the attacker, who can play on the flanks as well as in the centre. Super agent Jorge Mendes is working with both clubs to complete the deal, which is reportedly close to being finalized.

Furthermore, the Portuguese agent is working on a few sales for the San Siro side as well, namely Andre Silva and Cutrone. The two strikers are expected to leave in order to free up funds for the Correa deal. Therefore, Mendes is working to sell Andre Silva to Monaco, and Cutrone to Wolves.
