Di Marzio: Besiktas could increase bid for Milan winger Messias – the situation

By Isak Möller -

Junior Messias has ended up on the radar of Besiktas and after securing the arrival of Ante Rebic, the Turkish club could make a new push for the Brazilian. In the coming days, they could improve their offer as per a report.

Messias is no longer part of Milan’s plans and he has thus been linked with quite a few clubs this summer. As we reported earlier today, Torino have offered €3m for the winger while Besiktas want him on a loan deal.

However, the 32-year-old would prefer to stay in Italy and Milan also want to make a small capital gain, asking for around €7m. Gianluca Di Marzio added earlier this evening that Besiktas are evaluating the situation and they could subsequently improve their offer.

In the next 48 hours, as per the report, Besiktas could raise their offer and Messias is also pondering the move. It remains to be seen if an agreement can be reached between all parties but it must be stated there is plenty of time to negotiate.

Besiktas have already secured the arrival of Rebic and could perhaps take two outcasts off Milan’s hands this summer, in other words.

          1. He is worth 10 mil. When you compare his statistics with salary, he is 10 mil worth. If Italian clubs have more revenue at least 4 or 5 trams would be interested in him and purchased him.
His contract is in expiry next year that’s why Milan is in little bit hurry to sell for 3 or 4 mil.

          2. Besiktas is the one pushing the offer. Not an Italian team. Ask them. Better just sell now then not at all. Plus Messias got a muscle injury.

        1. They wasily have that amount. Problem is he’s not worth that now. He’s only going to decline from here and he’s not a great player as is. Would 100% be useful to a mid-table team but for 5ish mil.

        2. Junior has a market value of 4.5m, he’s 32 remember, and he isn’t a player of the highest quality, even if he can get you some goals. 5m is fair if we can get that for him. So if we get 7 we take it.

    1. Exactly. Swap plus cash with Singo is better.. then Theo back up. Lastly we can take our time before windows run out to get striker. I understand we going for Scamaca

    1. Do you not see football these past 2 season?

Rebic was better in his first 2 years with Milan. Now he isn’t.

He also has bigger wage, have bad personality issue, injury prone, and in a big rift with Pioli.

  1. For that little money I would prefer Messias stay. He can be usefule player if injuries happen which for Milan is all the time. He has scored some big goals for this team. Rebic and his bad attitude can leave.

    1. Unfortunately I think it’s really an issue of salaries and squad size right now. We have far too many in that department and have to transfer out some players. I mean even Luka Romero will likely be ahead of him.

  2. Junior + 7m euro cash offer to torino for singo . ACM cannot just depend on calabria & florenzi in RB ( both are injury prone) .
