Di Marzio: Calhanoglu’s future hangs in the balance as he re-evaluates Milan’s proposal

By Oliver Fisher -

Hakan Calhanoglu’s future appears to be firmly in the balance and he could yet renew with AC Milan after all, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

With his contract expiring at the end of the month there has been an abundance of speculation recently stating that Calhanoglu could reconsider his decision not to accept Milan’s offer due to a lack of interest from other clubs.

Di Marzio (via MilanNews) spoke about Calhanoglu and the potential renewal of his contract with Milan, remarking that the 27-year-old playmaker has not yet decided his future and he is re-evaluating Milan’s offer. If before his farewell seemed obvious, now that is not the case because he is slowly re-evaluating the Rossoneri’s proposal.

However, that does not mean that he is set to renew either, with the situation in the balance as things stand and with the European Championships just around the corner, which could act as a showcase of sorts.

I say we move on without him. This is dollar-rama all over again . Just waiting for a better offer to come and holding us to point of if nothing better happens. This BS has gone on all season and now wants us to wait even longer in the hoping for a good showing at euros and dump us.
No player is bigger over the club and this attitude isn’t what I want for our club. Clearly if was amazing as he and agent think clubs would be lining up around the corner to sign as a FREE agent. We should lower our offer if wants to continue with us
