There has been another twist regarding the future of Samu Castillejo as another Serie A club has come forward with an approach, a report claims.
After seeing the possibility of a move to Sampdoria and Hertha Berlin fade, Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanLive) writes that Spezia have made a last minute attempt to try and sign the Spanish winger as the Ligurian team are looking to reinforce their attack ahead of what could be a difficult season.
The operation could be secured with the formula of a loan with option to buy, but it is a deal that needs the green light of Castillejo himself, who hoped to obtain a destination of greater prestige. Updates are expected before the window closes in 20 minutes time, but Samu could get his deadline day move after all.
