Di Marzio: Milan talent Chaka Traore closing in on Brescia move

The transfer window may have shut for Serie A clubs but there is still the possibility of teams in the lower leagues adding to their squads.

It was confirmed on the club’s official website over the summer that Traore had put pen to paper on a new contract which will run for another five years. Then, it emerged that the plan was to loan him out so he could get consistent minutes at senior level.

According to the latest from Gianluca Di Marzio on his live blog, Chaka Traoré is moving towards joining Brescia. The terms of the deal are not mentioned, but we can imply that it would be a season-long loan deal.

Brescia are in need of rejuvenating as they only just avoided relegation to Serie C last season. They finished 16th and therefore one place above the play-off spot, but they did so only on goal difference.

Part of their problem was scoring goals given they netted 36 times in 38 league goals, meaning they scored less than once per game on average. Perhaps Chaka can help to fix that.

    1. Ashraf, you got to be an idiot, the kid needs development, did you know he was starting for Parma before Milan signed him, do your homework before you put your thoughts online.

      1. That’s my opinion I don’t see anything from that boy nothing special at all one dimension player, the day we brought him and today he is the same nothing changed no development let’s move and try something else

    2. Genuine question: How are you making this assessment since he’s barely played in the first team?

Fans are constantly writing off players who have never or barely played for the first team, so I would genuinely like to know how they make their assessment.

Are you relying on the judgment of a club that has developed ONE youth team player in 10 years (and that was by accident because Conti got injured)?

      1. This boy was with us long time our Primavera ( second team ) were struggling because of him I used to watch our Primavera team they were so close to relegation when he was there with them but now they give chance our promising youngsters and boom, I don’t see him football player maybe he is good for something else not football even serie d he can’t afford to show something

    1. Because I won every battle I still remember how 99% people were mocking me about cdk and less than year they are all happy because they see he have nothing with football

  1. Ashraf, Because you made one judgement against a player, you think you know it all, and all of your other judgements against other players will be correct.
