Di Marzio confirms AC Milan are working on bargain €20m Dani Olmo deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on signing Dinamo Zagreb winger Dani Olmo, it is claimed, but for the summer rather than the January window.

Croatian outlet Sportske dropped a huge bombshell on Wednesday night when they reported that Milan have had a €30m bid accepted for Olmo, with the player keen on the move and the potential for everything to be agreed ‘soon’.

Calciomercato.com then confirmed this on Thursday night, claiming that Zvonimir Boban is working on a €20-25million deal, with Olmo happy to make the switch.

Speaking during “Calciomercato l’originale” on Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), Gianluca Di Marzio spoke about the situation surrounding Olmo.

He reference the fact that a denial had filtered from Casa Milan regarding a bid, but the journalist believes Milan do have a concrete interest in the Barcelona academy product.

However, Milan are looking at signing him in June when there will be only one year left on his deal and his valuation may be €20m and not the current €30m.

Di Marzio confirms that the player wants the move and that the Rossoneri are in talks with both his agent and executives from the Croatian club.
