Igli Tare’s time at AC Milan has certainly not been easy and it appears that it is already heading to an end.
Last summer, when Tare was hired, there was something of an off feeling about it. Indeed, the Albanian was the first choice for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Gerry Cardinale. Then, Giorgio Furlani shook the process up and he became the last option.

Despite being there, he was still hired. However, it seemed more a case of him being the only one, as opposed to being the right one.
With suggestions in recent days about his control in the mercato and more coming to light, it seems almost inevitable that he will leave the club. Of course, these suggestions are strengthened by the rumours linking Milan to Tony D’Amico.
Tare heading to an exit
Speaking earlier today, Gianluca Di Marzio effectively confirmed that a change will occur this summer and his comments have been relayed by MilanNews.
“From what I understand, Tare won’t be next year’s sporting director. In the meantime, we need to figure out who the sporting director will be, who will be in charge at the ownership level, and then talk to Allegri to see if the conditions are right for him to stay.”
Cardinale: “my golden boy ibra can be the next sporting director.”
So if I understood, Cardinale and Ibra wanted Tate and Furlani was against this.
Seeing how Tate did this year we see:
Did well in getting Modric, De Winter, and Rabiot (granted Rabiot was more of Allegri pushing hard to get him)
Questionable: Ricci, Jashari, Athekame, Odogu (I’m not calling Odogu a failure because he’s a kid and hasn’t played more than 90 mins)
Failure: Nkunku, Estupinan, Fulkrug
Failed to get a proper CF that Allegri needed and wanted. Failed to get an experienced CB, failed to get a good Lb or wingback.
Given that it seems this was enough o not convince Cardinale or Furlani to continue with Tare, one would then say Furlani was right to question or have doubts of Tare and if anyone needs scrutiny it’s Ibra and Cardinale for getting this portion of the project wrong.
Nkunku was done by FURLANI, The questionable ones are k and for the future. He also delivered Kostic, remember that. If you say, he failed to deliver CF or whatever, he has to work with whatever they gave him. He also successfully sent some players for loan. I wouldnt call him failure
There is no evidence to suggest Furlani was behind Nkunku’s signing, other than a un-sourced claim made on a website. That’s not evidence, it’s rumour.
Jashiri isn’t questionable, he’s a flop. Hiding behind an injury he recovered from 3 months ago doesn’t excuse his lack of personality and lack of physicality. He’s a pushover.
People tend to forget the biggest issue is furlani. It doesn’t matter who leaves and who goes if furlani is around. Tare wanted to get players but needed approval from furlani and in the end it was said nkunku was brought it because of furlani seeing him as a player who can make a profit. Strikers between failed medicals and getting approval from furlani made us miss out. Maybe tare is to blame for some but in the end furlani is the root cause.

On who exactly did Milan miss out besides guy that had knee injuries?

Problem will be Ibrahimovic. If he gets more powerful position.
He is incompetent
Probably the worst transfer window in last 10 years. The guy got lucky that Modric was a Milan fan as a child and that Rabiot had a fight + he wants to play for Allegri. If that didn’t happen it wouldn’t be “probably” but 100%. Still, 160M€ spent on bench players, and Jashari is the crown jewel, 40M spent on a guy that is 4th in the same position, like he was the new Pirlo.
Predictable. They only brought him to handle the massive outgoing transfer market. He basically had no say in anything else.
Even more predictable – the American clown will promoted Zlatan after he promoted Furlani last year, only to make all of this even more comical than it already is, if that’s even possible.
