Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed that Antonio Conte is now on AC Milan’s radar, with Vincenzo Italiano having rejected them.
Milan ensured that their 2024-25 season ended in winning fashion, as they beat bottom of the table Monza 2-0 at San Siro last night. In truth though it was a useless win given the big objectives had already faded, and there was more speculation about the future than focus on the present.

This also applied to the Sky studios, with Di Marzio there to give the latest news regarding Milan’s pursuit of a new head coach. Igli Tare has signed as the new sporting director and appointing Sergio Conceicao’s replacement will be one of his first jobs.
Di Marzio gave an update on who might take over from the Portuguese and he seemed to throw Conte’s name into the hat, despite the fact he has just won the league with Napoli. MilanNews relayed his comments.
“Antonio Conte hasn’t made any agreements with anyone and hasn’t even made contact with anyone, he wants to talk to De Laurentiis and Manna first: he hasn’t promised himself to other teams. After this meeting he will decide what to do,” he said.
“Milan hasn’t made any moves on Conte yet, Juve are the most focused Conte is a thought in the Rossoneri’s orbit because Italiano wants to stay at Bologna and he made it known to Milan in the last few hours.

The truth is if he can put his head down and work hard, he could be a very good player, he has the technique, skill, speed and physical quality to be a very good player, it’s his attitude that’s the problem…
Which attitude did Okafor has ?…. I can’t remember him troubling the coaches or has any issues with other players in the dressing room even on the pitch with opponents

Okafor never has problem with attitude, he has problem with his fitness.
Sergio Consisao is better coach for Milan . The Milan problem is management not coach or players . Conte or Allegri couldn’t change Milan problem so that no need of change coach . If Milan wants to be back previous Glory they should have back Paulo Maldini & his cooperatives not changing coach Sergio.
As much as I agree that Conceicao wasn’t the problem, I wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to sign top coaches like Conte or Allegri. As they are miles better than Conceicao. Milan shouldn’t hesitate to sign a top coach. One that befits a club of Milan’s status. If I had my way we should go after Jürgen Klopp and give him the entire Sporting Project to run as a Manager like they have in England. For me it’s worth a try. Give Klopp the keys to Milanello and let him return the club back to the top and take it’s rightful place in Italian and European football.
