Di Marzio: Genoa want Milan outcast Conti for the right-back role – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Andrea Conti was always expected to leave Milan this summer, following the loan spell at Parma, and this idea has been fueled today. The right-back, in fact, wasn’t included in the squad for tonight’s game.

Conti made a few appearances during pre-season but the Rossoneri decided not to include him in the squad for tonight’s clash against Sampdoria. A clear market signal to all the team interested.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Genoa are one of the teams interested in Conti, who failed to impress at Parma. They are following the situation closely and one can only assume that Milan are very open to negotiations.

The Rossoneri have been trying to offload the former Atalanta man all summer and with just one week left of the window, now is the time. Most likely, they won’t get much money for the degender’s exit, also because his contract will expire next year.
